Lunchbox recipes don’t get much easier than these Milo and Weet-Bix Balls! Made with just FOUR Ingredients and requiring under 15 minutes of preparation time, this easy snack recipe will become a family favourite. Find both regular and Thermomix instructions in the recipe card below.

These easy Weet-Bix balls are always popular in our house, both as a snack and as a lunchbox treat. This easy snack recipe is made using just FOUR simple ingredients and I promise you that the kids will love them!

This recipe is a combination of my Weet-Bix Slice and Four IngredientMilo Balls, and once you have tried it, you will see why it’s a family favourite!

Budget friendly – have broken/crushed Weet-Bix that you need to use? There is no need to throw it out, simply use it in this recipe!

To make these no bake Weet-Bix and Milo Balls, you will need 11 Weet-Bix bars, a tin of sweetened condensed milk, desiccated coconut (I do not recommend using shredded or flaked) and of course Milo.

I like to roll the balls in desiccated coconut to decorate, however you can leave them plain or coat in extra Milo or even cocoa if you prefer.

How to Make Weet-Bix and Milo Balls

This recipe takes no time at all to put together and the rest of the ingredients you need to make them are likely already sitting in your pantry. They are also a great one to make with the kids who will love getting their hands messy helping you to roll the mixture into balls.

Step 1. Crush the Weet-Bix bars using a food processor, Thermomix or rolling pin.

Step 2. Add the sweetened condensed milk, coconut and Milo and mix.

Step 3. Use a spoon to scoop up the mixture and roll into balls. Roll in the extra coconut before placing onto a plate/into a container.

Step 4. Place into the fridge to chill and firm – or you can enjoy immediately.

Tips for making these Milo and Weet-Bix Balls

You don’t have to use the Weet-Bix brand of cereal, you can you others which are similar.

If you find your mixture is too dry, you can add a teaspoon or two of water to help bring it together better.

These Milo and Weet-Bix Balls can be frozen

They are best stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to seven days.

Equipment

  • 1 x large bowl

Ingredients

  • 11 Weet-Bix
  • 395 grams sweetened condensed milk approximately one tin
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • cup Milo powder
  • ½ cup coconut extra – used to roll the balls in

Instructions

  • Place the Weet-Bix into a food processor and blitz until they are finely crumbed. Transfer into a large bowl.

  • Add the condensed milk, coconut and Milo powder and mix until well combined – don’t worry, it will be sticky.

  • Use a teaspoon to scoop up the mixture and roll into balls. Roll the balls in the extra coconut and place on a plate. Repeat until all of the mixture has been used.

  • Place the Weet-Bix and Milo Balls into the fridge for one hour to chill.

Thermomix Instructions

  • Place the Weet-Bix into your Thermomix bowl and mix for 10 seconds, speed 5 to crush.

  • Add the sweetened condensed milk, coconut and Milo powder and mix for 15 seconds, speed 5.

  • Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix for a further 5 seconds, speed 4 or until combined.

  • Use a teaspoon to scoop up the mixture and roll into balls. Roll the balls in the extra coconut and place onto a plate. Repeat until all of the mixture has been used.

  • Place into the fridge to chill and firm.

Notes

You will need approximately 380 grams of Weet-Bix for this recipe

You don’t have to use the Weet-Bix brand of cereal, you can you others which are similar.

The mixture WILL be sticky

If you find your mixture is too dry, you can add a teaspoon or two of water to help bring it together better.

  • 80 grams desiccated coconut
  • 45 grams Milo powder
  • ½ cup extra coconut used to roll the balls in

Instructions

  • Place the Weet-Bix into your Thermomix bowl and mix for 10 seconds, speed 5 to crush.

  • Add the condensed milk, coconut and Milo powder and mix for 15 seconds, speed 5.

  • Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix for a further 5 seconds, speed 4 or until combined,
