Where is the best place to buy crafting materials in Starfield? ›

Jemison Mercantile is the shop in Starfield. You can sell almost anything to them and they'll also sell you a ton of different resources like iron, tungsten, adhesive, and more. You can even get digipicks there. You can find Jemison Mercantile in the New Atlantis spaceport on Jemison in Alpha Centauri.

While these resources can be found at certain traders you'll meet, the best way to get them is by exploring planets and scanning them to find out which resources populate their landmasses. You can scan any planet or moon from orbit and press R on PC to display a map of where resources are likely to be found.

To ensure that you have as many recipes as possible, you should collect new materials every time you unlock a new biome. Each biome comes with new materials specific to it, so unlocking new biomes opens up a way for you to unlock more and more recipes.
